Annual reports of adult immigrant education (Americanization) classes, 1921-1937.

The series consists of reports of Americanization classes filed by the boards of education of city, village, and union free school districts. These reports were filed pursuant to section 58 of the Education Law of 1910 (Chapter 140) allowing the Board of Regents or Commissioner of Education to require reports from any school or institution under the supervision of the state. Usually there are separate reports for each school in a district conducting these classes.
